From 1998 to 2001 I worked as an artisan and consultant to artists fabricating sculpture at Tallix Art Foundry in Beacon, NY. Work I was directly involved with included the 24′ Da Vinci bronze horse in Milan, Italy, the Japanese American Memorial in Washington, D.C. (both by sculptor Nina Akamu) and an historical marker on the Richmond, VA Riverwalk entitled “George Washington’s Vision” (for which I fabricated the prototype):
